Nvidia and Google are partnering to deliver a faster, more convenient cloud gaming experience for Chromebook users with the new GeForce Now Fast Pass. This exclusive tier combines the benefits of the free GeForce Now service with select features from the premium “Performance” tier, making high-quality gaming accessible without expensive hardware.
Key Features of Fast Pass
The Fast Pass offers access to over 2,000 games playable at 1080p resolution with 60 frames per second, along with a one-hour session limit. Crucially, it includes priority queue access, eliminating wait times that can plague free users during peak hours. Additionally, the service is ad-free.
Chromebook Bundling and Availability
Starting this week, a year of GeForce Now Fast Pass is being bundled with new Chromebook purchases, providing 10 hours of gaming per month with rollover allowances up to 5 hours. Current Chromebook owners will also be able to subscribe, though Nvidia has not yet announced pricing for standalone access.
