If you are hunting for answers to Connections, Wordle, or the sports edition of Connections just go to CNET’s puzzle hub. They list it all there.

There are some decent tips floating around too. Useful if you get stuck in a spiral. Let’s just get to the answers before anyone rage quits.

Across

1A. Fruity dessert defined by the crunch? It is a CRISP.

6A. Bees make it. You know this one. HONEY.

7A. This wood builds Fender guitars. ALDER. If you play rock you probably knew that.

8A. The ride at the water park where you splash down? Log FLUME.

9A. An English county that sounds like letters S and X? ESSEX. That is a fun trivia bit.

Down

1D. Getting rubbed the wrong way leads to a CHAFE. Literally.

2D. The first thing you do in Monopoly is ROLL dice. Specifically ROLLS.

3D. The long river in South Asia. It stretches roughly 2000 miles. INDUS. This one tripped up the room.

4D. When the teacher fails you she might write this at the bottom. SEEME. A bit ominous but true.

That covers it.

Some puzzles click instantly others just refuse to yield. Maybe you finished in twenty seconds. Maybe you needed a hint. Both happen. The app loads a new grid tomorrow anyway so it does not really matter how long it took today. Does it?
